Long-term Staff Application

Before considering any type of involvement in the ministry here, we urge you to take the first and most important step of seeking God’s guidance through prayer, Bible study, and counsel from your pastor, mature Christian friends and family.

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is an international, interdenominational organization of independent missionaries. Our policy throughout YWAM is that each staff person is responsible for trusting God for their own financial needs. A sufficient amount pledged or available for your support is an indication of God’s call for you to serve.  We recognize the importance of being sent out with the blessing of a home church, secure in knowing that you have a firm foundation of prayer and financial support.  Of course, all staff must have successfully completed a Discipleship Training School (DTS or CDTS).

After all the required items listed below have been received by us, each member of our Base Council will read and pray over your application, they will pray together and seek the Lord's will in any decision that is made.  We will be in contact with you throughout the process.

Please make sure your application forms are filled out according to the directions outlined below:
Application Form: 
Please type or print clearly with black ink. 
Use a separate sheet of paper when needed.
Attach a passport-sized photo of yourself to the upper right
hand corner of the application form.

Reference Forms:     Reference forms are to be completed by:
Your Pastor
DTS Leader, most recent YWAM school leader, or your
Base Leader if you have been on YWAM staff previously.
Reference content is kept in confidence.
