Frequently Asked Questions

Where do your outreaches go?

We have three outreach locations:

1. Baja California, MX,
-Homes of Hope
-Orphanage

2. Morelia -Orphanage

3. Oaxaca -Orphanage

Where will we stay?

Whether you are building a house or working at the orphanage, you will stay in dormitory-style accommodations- up to 8 to a room. Depending on how many people there are during your week, it may be possible to provide families or couples with their own room, but there is no guarantee. The facilities are clean, simple and adequate. You provide your own bedding.

There are indoor toilets, and showers with hot and cold running water. The food is wholesome and nourishing and is served in a large dining hall, family-style.
What are the dates for the outreaches?

We have outreaches every month. Please call us for specific dates.

Where do we meet?

Make your travel plans to meet us at the San Diego, CA Airport on Sunday—the first morning of the outreach—by 11:00 am. We will return to the San Diego Airport by 5:30 pm (subject to delays at the border) on Saturday—the final day of the outreach.

How long have you been doing these trips?

We began taking teams to Mexico in 1992. Since that time, we have led more than 500 teams, built more than 250 houses and provided thousands with Bibles, food, vitamins, clothing, shoes, toys, etc. Dozens have come to know Christ as a result of our evangelistic outreaches.

Mexico Adventures

An amazing short-term outreach experience for your groupOur task on each mission trip is to show the tangible aspect of God's love by providing housing for families in this area, building a house, complete with cement slab, windows, and door.Your labor of love will result in the first home ever for many of these precious people.
Do you want to be part of something bigger than yourself?

As we bless others with the labor of our hands we will also build relationships as we attend local church services, and participate in one or two outreaches to the migrant workers' camps in the area.
Part of our mission trip is to enjoy the Mexican culture, foods and an afternoon at the beach and shopping at local markets for reminders of your life changing experience.

World-Class Service

We'll take care of the details of your mission trip. You won't have to worry about the food, housing, transportation, or anything else so you can focus on your group. We'll do the work so you can do the ministry.

Outreach Details

Homes of Hope:

  • Bless a family by building them a house, complete with a cement floor (the slab will be ready by the time your team gets there), real windows (they normally use just a piece of cloth over a hole in the wall), a door that locks (again – they usually only have a piece of cloth or cardboard for a door) and a roof that will not leak when it rains!

Play games, give candy & balloons, paint faces and fingernails, and show the love of Jesus through our love to the kids that congregate at the job site. We will be going on at least one “adult evangelism” outreach in a neighboring community and we will help out at a local church or a Christian drug & alcohol rehab center.

Attend a lively Mexican church service which will be translated into English.

Trip cost per person: $300
Your team is responsible for providing the funds for the home you will build.
A single house costs: $1,800 (220 sq. ft.)
A double house costs: $3,600 (440 sq. ft.)

Orphanage Outreach

Bless the staff at the Orphanage by doing some work each day; which may include: painting, simple carpentry, yard and garden work, sewing, taking care of babies, working in the kitchen, sorting clothes, cleaning bathrooms, and playing with the kids.  (You usually get to choose your work duty!). If you have special skills, such as building, fixing or nursing, you may be asked to serve in your area of expertise.

We will assist the orphanage staff in their ministry of caring for and evangelizing, both the children and local neighborhoods, as well as adults in field worker camps.

Trip cost per person: $275

Cancellation Policy:

Your deposit will be refunded in full if you cancel at least 2 months (60 days) ahead of your scheduled outreach week.

A life-changing experience

Our two boys (11 and 12 years old) were completely exhausted from one of the most amazing weeks we have ever spent together as a family!.

Visiting this place truly made us feel that we were His hands to touch the world around us!

Farris family, California

God revealed Himself to me

I have not been able to shake Mexico from my mind (and I don't want to!).  God revealed so much to me there through the people on our team, through the Mexican people, and through His working in my own heart. One of the biggest reminders for me personally was that I don't want to limit God- by my own fears, by selfishness or things I hold on to, or by judging others or doubting His ability to work in them.
