The School Of Remodel and Repair (SORR) is a twelve-week, hands-on learning experience of how to be a handyman, or woman, for the Lord. This course is an entry point, a way to bless those who would be more open spiritually if their needs were met physically.

Electrical wiring, wall framing, roofing and plumbing are just a few of the topics covered in this practical, nuts and bolts class. SORR teaches some of the skills that have been lost in this sometimes too easy, remote-controlled world. It’s about getting a little dirty, swinging a hammer and glorifying God while a job is being finished.

Obviously the benefits of the class are not just limited to the “mission field,” they are useful everywhere. Whether a neighbor needs help with a leaky faucet, your parents need a new electrical outlet or you simply want to improve your own home—you can learn it here. And for those interested in working at a YWAM base, this is a great opportunity to learn some skills that will help you and your fellow YWAMers.
So check out SORR. At the very least you’ll be able to fix your runny toilet. At most, you’ll end up sharing Jesus with the world by driving in a few nails.
